Sharene Garaman is a native of Jackson Hole, Wyoming, the internationally acclaimed western resort town. She worked in the family’s numerous businesses prior to departing for college. The family still has a variety of retail, lodging and commercial real estate interests.
She has been a recreational and competitive athlete in many outdoor sports including tennis, downhill and nordic skiing, cycling, and her favorite equestrian sport of dressage. Her leisure time is now spent riding a feisty Lusitano mare around the Virginia countryside and the calmer activity of gardening.
She and her husband Vinny Pacent and their indefatigable Pembroke Corgi Isabella (the smallest diva in the family) divide their time between homes in Jackson Hole and rural Virginia located in the pastoral Shenandoah Valley.
Dr. Garaman believes it is possible to create an extraordinary life, rather than an ordinary one, by enhancing our physical and psychological health and nurturing our passions and dreams.
