Dr. Garaman hired a graphic artist to develop a professional "identity" for her consulting work. She envisioned a seated figure with the right hand extended and the left hand open and resting over the chest. There was a glow from within this seated figure.

When this description of the hands was searched on Google, the figure of Padmapani appeared. The Psychological Rejuvenation logo is a stylized version of the seated figure of Padmapani.

Padmapani or Lotus Carrier, was a disciple of Buddha in the Himalayan region of Nepal, 1000-1400 A.D. He is one of the most popular divinities in the Buddhist pantheon and is known as the 'Lord of Compassion.' The right hand is held in varada mudra, the gesture of charity. Padmapani was thought to be continuouly engaged in helping humanity.

The Water Spigot symbolizes energy that is gathered below the surface and then released through the outpouring of water. An upper level dressage movement called the piaffe was the inspiration. The piaffe requires a tremendous amount of collected energy from the horse which is then gloriously expressed as prancing in place. This movement requires many patient years of training, although some horses have a natural talent for this type of expression. In people, beautiful, expressive movements also require a powerful and centered energy source that may also require years of practice and personal growth.
The Radiant Burst is an expression of warmth. When we create a warm, loving environment for other living creatures, we bring that into our own lives.
The Labyrinth symbolizes the journey of personal and professional growth. For some, the journey is long and arduous with many dead ends and endless corridors. For others, an easier path awaits. None of us is ever finished, we are all on a grand journey of exploration.
